Objective: In today’s class we will talk about ordering a meal and planning a party.   

 

By the end of this class, we will be able to 

  • Order a meal. 

  • Cook a dish by planning a party.

When you go to a restaurant, which questions do you ask?  

Do you have a favorite restaurant? Where is it? What do you like to eat in your favorite restaurant?  

 


Task 6: 

  1. Let’s watch a video about ordering food in a restaurant. Please, watch it until minute 3. Click HERE 
  2. Take notes of the important questions the waiter asks, and the ones the customers ask. 
  3. Then, discuss these questions with your partner:  

What does the father want to drink?

What does the daughter want to drink?

What does the mother want for a starter?  

What does the daughter want to eat?   

Does the chicken taste gross?   

Is the chicken soup the favorite of the girl?   

Are they mad for going to that restaurant?

  1. Let’s create our own dialogue! One can be the customer, and the other one the waiter or waitress. Please, write your dialogue in your respective document.
