Objective: In today’s class we will talk about our diet, and we will describe how to have a healthy diet.   

 

By the end of this class, we will be able to 

  • Describe our diet.  

  • Explain how to have a healthy diet.  


Agenda:  

  1. Vocabulary. 
  2. Review countable and uncountable nouns.  
  3. Grammar: how much..? / how many… 
  4. Do a food shopping list. 
  5. Listening.  
  6. Describe and recommend a healthy diet.  

 

Task 1:  

  1. 1. Look at the picture and discuss these questions in the main room:  


  • Do you see any of your favorite foods 

  • Which one do you like? 

  • Which one do you like for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

What fruits/vegetables do you see in the photo? Do you like to eat them? 

Do they look good to eat? Why?  

When you buy fruits/vegetables, do you buy the ones that look “nice”?  

 

Task 7: Reading 

  1. We are going to complete exercise C, page 122.  
  2. Then, discuss these questions with your partner:  

Do you think this is a problem in Costa Rica?  

Do you think you waste food? Why? 

What solution can you propose to solve this problem?
