Lesson Objectives:  

 

Objective: In today’s class we will talk about some health remedies by talking to our classmates about some steps to have a healthy life. 

 

By the end of this class, we will be able to 

  • Give advice on health remedies.  
  • Talk about a process. 
  • Describe healthy living.

  • Listening.

  • Improving writing skills.  

 


Task 1: What is going on? 

  1. 1. Take a look at these pictures, and answer the questions:  

What’s the matter?  

What’s the problem?  

How does she/he feel?  

 

Subj + feel / look (s) + adjective.

Task 2: Grammar! - Broken Phone  


  1. Let’s be divided into 2 groups.  
  2. We will stand in line.  
  3. The teacher will read a sentence to the first person. He/she will say it to the next person. 
  4. The last person will write it down on the board.  
  5. Finally, let’s see which group has the most correct sentences.

 

 


Task 3:  

  1. 1. Now, we are going to complete exercise A, unit 10, goal C, page 134.

  1. 3. After reading the remedies from the book and the document, discuss:  

  • When do you do them?  

For example:  

  • I go to bed when I have the flu.  

  • I eat chicken soup when I have a stomachache.

Objective: describe healthy living.

Do you know a person who is old and healthy (e.g., a grandparent)? 

           Why do you think they are healthy? 

 

  1. 2. Look at this list of activities for a long and healthy life. Which activity do you think is the most important? Which do you think is the least important? 

 

Get regular exercise 

Eat a lot of fruit and vegetables 

Get 7–8 hours of sleep every night 

Have close friends and face-to-face contact 

Breathe clean air 

Take time to relax
